Action against disappearnce of someof defendants in dv case?

With my little knowledge; In DV case, respondent’s appearance is not mandatory. Their counsel can represent them.

YOU MENTION THE FACTS TO THE COURT. THE COURT WILL DIRECT ACCORDINGLY.

What about applicants appearence in DV case . She has filed the case and she is not appearing but her counsel is appearing .?? is it not mandatory for the applicant to appear ?

she is required at evidence stage and btw who like to see her in court daily when relations are at low level between couples !
