Advice on vacating commercial rental property during lock-in

Hi,

Can anyone please advice me if there's any possible way of vacating a commercial rental property during lock-in period. Our rental agreement has not been registered and we have only completed 6 months of our 3 years contract.

We have recently found a suitable tenant who is willing to take over the place but the landlord was being very nasty to us and have threatened us. I would really appreciate someone's legal advice on what options I have.

I have read somewhere that we are legally allowed to vacate the place if we find a tenant who is willing to take over.

Thanks in advance

Hi, thanks for the prompt reply. I just went through your profile. Good on you for doing that! Professionally I also work with children here in Australia. Is it possible for us to contact via email regarding lease-break. If not, I have a sister in Delhi who can give you a call. We are going through hard times at the moment and would appreciate any advice.

Thanks again!!
