Law can not say anything. If any one approaches, depending on facts and circumstances the court may decide as living together with mutual consent is not a crime.
P. Venu (Advocate) 20 June 2020
Ther could be no legal consequences except that the partners would be legal guradians to children borne of such relationship and those children would be legal heirs to both the biological parents.
Dr J C Vashista (Advocate) 20 June 2020
Law is applied/ set in motion when any occurance, crime or dispute is there, wherein you have posted the question to give an exam on the basis of "if.."
How you are concerned and what is your locus standi ?
Arpit Tumbaria (Advocate at Uttarakhand High Court.) 20 June 2020
Yeah well said it depends on your Locus Standi and Mens-rea behind it if u had done any illegal act. like abusing your partner or beatting her etc so there will be some action taken against you by the police.
but if you are good at your place and had not done any illegal act so there will be no harm to you bcoz under law you can live with the mutual concent with each other but only if your are not Minor.

1. LAW is least bothered about your live-in-relationship & its consequences, PROVIDED you do not approach the Law.

There is no legal sanctity for liv in a relationship. However, in the event such a relationship results in pregnancy and childbirth, the biological father needs to take care of the child and all the responsibilities along with the Mother. Any assets the biological father has, the child born out of such a relationship shall have the right to have share.
