I want to buy agricultural land in my father-in-laws name as he has RTC. can he gift this land to my wife immediately after purchase or this need some time? it is in karnataka.

yes he can gift the land immidiate after the purchase to person who are in blood relationship.

if there are more than one child and the father gifts the property to one child. the other children can take legal action to claim the share?
