ancestral property issue

My mother is only single daughter to my grandfather ,no siblings to her but my grandfather's brothers sons occupied his whole property without any intimation to him for the past 50 years.My grandfather is elder among all his brothers but they registered all the property without intimation to my grandfather.my grandmother is alive and my mother also, can I challenge them in court as a legal heir.Which documents needed ,we have only death certificate of my grandfather.

You cannot challenge but your mother can file suit for partition ,you take GPA from her proceed in court.

Yes, your mother being the single daughter legal heir of your grandfather, therefore your mother can file suit for partition in the civil court.

If it is agricultural land ,then revenue documents ,if it is non  agricultural  then ,municipal or town  ---documents,, GPA means general power of attorney .
