Lawyers,
I am buying a plot received by seller as ancestral property by his father through will. now seller has three sons, am adding them as consenting witness in sale deed. Should I add his grandchildren too as consenting witness ( one is major grandson, rest are minor , some are abroad ). ?

Rama chary Rachakonda (Secunderabad/Telangana state Highcourt practice watsapp no.9989324294 )     03 January 2019

Any person, related or not can be an witness to a document. Only parties to the agreement can not be a witness.
A minor can be a witness to an agreement. A witness is a person who deposes as to his knowledge of facts in issue between the parties in a cause.

Thank you very much for the reply. a) Can a GPA holder be a consenting witness ? b) is it ok to leave out the grandchildren of the seller from sale deed all together ?
