Anticipatory bail

Sir/Madam:

1) I was informed Anticipatory Bail cannot be granted till the chargesheet is filed, is this true? At the same time I was also informed that if AB is granted my wifes family may ask me to come to India before any chargesheet is filed. The above information seems to be contradicting eachother. Cases 313/498/420/406/3/4 were registered and have me as A1 listed.

2) How does mediation work?

3) Typical fees for doing the mediation?

Please advise on all the three Q. Thank you.

Anticioatory bail can be filed any time it is not necessary that chargesheet should be filed, yes but chances of geanting the bail are more if chargsheet is filed as the investigation is over and the case will be for trail, upon if you file A nticipatory bail petition now and it is not granted than still you can file one more bail petition when the chargesheet is filed. Hence you can apply for anticpitaory bail and grnating and rejecting the bail depends upon the facts and circumstances  of each case.

Mediation generally can be completed more quickly than court cases.
