Appointment in judiciary

Hi,

1. Please furnish me the wripetition number pending before honourable supreme court, where in permitting a law officer for the post of district judge is under review .

2. Whether a in service judicial officer in the cadare of civil judge junior division who is having 7 years practice as an advocate even before his entering into judicial service is entittled to appear for the competetive examination under direct recruitment for the post of district judge?

3. The recommendations of first national judicial pay commission report permitting a judicial officer and ammendment tothe article 237 of Indian constitution accordingly is answered by supreme court either in possitive or negative in its two judgements?

4. Are there any differences in service rules among the states in this regard ?

1. Not aware of such WP.

2. No. The movement you joined the judicial service as Junior Civil Judge....you have to opt for promotion only.

3. No finding seems to have been given.

4. Regarding Seven years minimum practice is same to all states and Junior Civil Judge cannot compete for District Judge Regular Recruitment.
