I am branch manager in a nationalised bank.
during demonetisation a customer
demanded 24000/- . we had acute cash shortage even though I promise him to pay only if he visit branch in first half of banking hours as afterwards cash minimises and tends to finish.
he enters after 4.09 pm in bank and demanded the same. we politely refuse
as we exhaust cash and he came after banking hours.
he then threaten me to beat outside.
we call police but he escape.
now he file case against me
with my designation under ipc 156/3
what should I do
