First file application to the concerned bank for providing certified copy of the cheque that you suspect as forged, complain to the Bank in writing and through their online portal (pgportal..finance ministry...RBI..Rural banking) , and once if the complaint is from the Bank (Honouring a forged cheque is not payment in due course, and according to me even bank is negligent.
Send a copy of the cheque to Truth Labs, Hyderabad (Search full address in google) and they may charge Rs.5,000/- to give a certificate that cheque is forged, which is legally valid as Truth labs is legally recognised body.
Also immediately, after issuing notice to bank and waiting for a month file a complaint in District consumer forum against the bank for honoring a forged cheque. By that time the case comes for hearing, you can get the authentic certificate and can establish deficiency of service and can also seek compensation for huge amount, and applicabel market rate of interest if you are a commercial person. (The complaint before District consumer forum depends on your activity of business)
Also file a complaint before Banking Ombudsman against the bank.

It makes no difference and you have now more advantage, as withdrawal must be used by customer himself, with passbook, identifying himself before the Bank. It is more serious now and bank is certainly deficient in passing such withdrawal. Please read the enire guidance and take step by step action immediately, if you believe the guidance helps you properly.
