Basics for a junior advocate

Dear Sirs,

Please let me know "What are the basics that a student (who just finished his LLB) has to acquire before joining any senior lawyer school?"

Every professional should follow the professional ethics whether he /she is Junior or Senior. Sincerity in your work and loyalty to your clients are more essential than the knowledge on the subject. In the beginning, one cannot earn morney to satisfy one's material needs. However, you can learn a lot only at this period. In any profession / employment, people would get experienced and moulded only by defeats, humiliations, unexpected and unjustified loss of so many things in verious aspects. Don't lose heart. Be patient and look for your turn to prove yourself. Even if you don't have any work in courts, go and sit in Court rooms regularly just to watch as to how the senior advocates are handling their respective cases. Keep in mind as to how cross examinations are conducted by the experienced lawyers in an able manner. Never succump to the pressure of the opponents and compromise with them for material gains. Have faith in Almighty God who will reward your sincer and honest work even the same may not be honoured by your own client.  May God bless you. All the best and take care.
