Off course action can be initiated , you are the best person to support your wife and by providing such morale support you can insist your wife to lodge an complaint against that black mailer , if your wife really want to get rid of that black mailer and you are supporting her then she will never forget your support and you both can enjoy harmony.

Why you want to take legal action against that boy? Only to make head in shame of her and her family? Dnt forget after marriage she is yours and her reputation is your. If your wife is ready to forget all her past and live with you & you believe her then its better you also forget.
