I have in my possesion a copy of Bombay Shops & Establishments ACT 1948,
As per this shops are not to remain open beyond 2045 hrs in any situation.
Recently I read in news of this LAW changing to allow shops to remain open till 2200hrs.
IS THIS TRUE ?
Can shops on the 1st & 2nd floor of Residential Buildings remain open till 2200 hrs? Our Landlord has sold an office to be made into a RETAIL AND WHOLSESALE shop.
Can this shop Remain open Beyond 2100 hrs?
I need your advice because this Shop creates a lot of troubles for the remaining people living on these floors.
