Respected members,
last year we got together (all siblings from abroad), and brother's arranged marriage took place. This marriage from meeting the girl's family to ferey all happened within 4 days including the day that we met and confirmed to them without asking too many questions to or about the girl as we thought it could be offensive for our traditional cultured Indian families. Well, right from the next morning, story turned out to be very different. Now it is almost one year and although the girl is pregnant but she doesn't show any maturity or warmth towards any family member, her parents are bullying us into letting them do anything they want to example- come and see her anytime, take her anytime...telling us to have extra servants...etc. etc. recent one was that they even said that they would charge us Section 302 if something happens to the unborn baby...we have been looking after their daughter so well...guess we made the biggest mistake of our life by chosing to say yes to the girl the same hour that we saw her...we never had an idea that her parents would be such bullies who hide things from their own relatives but make up solid lies and tell their bullying allys...we are very concerned now...which way to go...the wedding only took place in Gurdwara only.
