Can association stop owner from drilling inside his own flat

I am an owner of a flat in an apartment in Bangalore.

I am doing a major redecoration of the house and for that purpose there are instances where drilling is involved on multiple days.

The acoustics of our building is such that noise travels very easily outside even if we close all doors and windows.

So, Now association is saying that you cannot drill on multiple days as it is creating lots of noise and neighbouring flats are complaining about it.

They are telling me to pre decide and discuss with all the contractors and finish drilling on one day.

My point is there are different people being hired for different jobs. example- pop person for false ceiling, plumber for kitchen related, carpenter for furntinture etc.,

Also the redecoration of whole house involves lots of work which can't be done in one day.

So i cannot get all drilling work finished in a day. But i can ask the respective contractors beforehand on the day and time they are going to drill and inform the association accordingly.

But association is not ready for that and say you can choose a day and finish all work in day. Or next time we won't allow drilling equipment inside.

So my question is , Can any bye law of any association in Bangalore/Karnataka give association the power to not allow drilling inside a flat if owner is doing it with doors and windows closed?

Note-  In case this matters at all, This association is registered under Societies act but not under KAOA.

1. DRILLING inside own Flat is classified as allowable "Tenable Repairs" under local Municipal Laws. 2. However, IF such Drilling is causing noise & nuisance & distrubance to co-residents, THEN it is a criminally prosecutable offence. Keep Smiling ....
