Can I file a case against LG

I have Nexus 5x mobile. It's warranty ended on 11 Nov and the phone got dead after 2-3 days of warranty period then i contacted LG who asked me to contact local LG service centre . I contacted and they told me it will cost around 13k which is almost half of the price of mobile . Then, I researched online and found that the same is reported worldwide and LG has been refunding their money even after warranty and also stopped manufacturing the phone. Even many lawsuits have been filed against LG worldwide only because of this manufacturer's fault to which LG has also admitted . Reading online , I read that in India also , LG has repaired phones after it faced the boot loop problem even after warranty. But, in my case, they are not ready to do so. They are asking me to pay full amount. What should I do??
