Hi,
I am owner of a shop in suburban Mumbai since 2013. I have a commercial gas license to cook food for personal purpose and fire license apart from all the other licenses required. I have been using the shop as my residence since the time I purchased it and live there along with my family. I use the building washroom for my bathing and washing clothes. But oflate the committee is harrasing me and state that I cannot use the shop as a residence. In the Bye-laws there is nothing specific mentioned to this effect. Under definition clause the flat definition applies mutatis mutandis to the shop. So can we use the shop as residence.
Kindly advice if the Society can object on me continuing to stay there as a resident, and if so then under which clause.
Thanku
