Can society make law to buy specific product

It's legal to have a safety grill. You can ask society to indemnify you against anything and every loss if you remove the grill. Send them a registered letter regarding the same.

However, if there was already a rule against MS Grills, then they have the right to ask you to remove them and replace them with other grills.

But, if the rules against MS Grills were made after you installed them, you can take up the matter seriously with them.
