Certified copy of provisional

Yes Navya! you can definitely apply for and get a certified copy of the provisional application. Infact a large number of conventional applications are filed claiming the priority of the provisional applications. Not only that, you may obtain a certified copy of any document submitted on an application, for example proof of right documents, on payment of fees at the Patent Office. Please note that you would also require a power of attorney in your favour to obtain certified documents from the Patent Office.

Indian law doesnot says you cant file claims in provisional. you can file claims in provisional specification. furhter

i believe a third party can not get a provisonal application which is abandoned.
