Change of court order

My uncle worked in a co-operative bank all thru his life. He was suspended by bank on false ground and later terminated. Suspension and termination happpened in the last 3-4 years of his working life. My uncle filed case  in labour court. The defendant (Bank)  was absent on all hearings and Judge passed Ex-parte order in favour of my uncle. My uncle demanded full wages/salary for suspension period, gratuity, and compensation for mental angony. But judge says in the order that  only retirement benefits should be given as he has retired and can  not work.  Judge found everything illegal whatever was done to my uncle but made mistake of only paying retirement benefits. Judge accepted the mistake but she sys she can not change the order (though order was ex-parte, other party never attended court because they knew that they were wrong). All on this forum are requested to help. Can judge change the order if it is exparte ? Do we have any court ruling supporting this? What you experts suggest next course of action should be? (He was a vicitm of politics which we see in any co-operative borganisation, the charges were false and it was proved in court, bank had no proof for anything)
