A builder by name J.S. Housing Corporation in Mumbai by promising Flat , possession in Feb 2008 took an amount of Rs.4 Lacs in advance in the year 2007, and kept on hold saying all formalities are going on and any time flat will be ready. But, now he says the private land in which he was to build, has been acquired by the collector and under the land acquisition scheme and neither he paid back the money. After lot of persuation and with the third party's help, he returned the same amount without any interest. Kindly let me know is there any provision under which I can claim the loss, interest and market realisation based on the prevailing scenario.
