Cheque bounce defence

sir,

we have taken loan of Rs 150000( Fifteen Lakh Rupees) from our colony met and  for assurence we have signed on black bound papers and given 24 cheques, now he blackmails us saying that, we have morteaged our property for token amount of Rs 15,000/- and remaing balnace amount  he will be pay  we have to vacct the house so that he will take the position, or else he will bounce the cheques which was kept for security at him and he will file the criminal case against us,

 

please help me how to deal with this

he had already sent two legal notice for cheque bounce,

In such an event, if your have not been gven a notice in writing by him, you make the loan amount ready and inform him through a registered post stating that your are ready to settle his loan amount at the date, time and place fixed, ask him to return the blank cheques and blank bond held by him in his possession as security for the said loan amount.  In his reply let him commit the way he does,since you have created a record in writing, you may issue a stop payment  instruction to your bankers instructing them to not to honor the cheques as per the details,  if presented or payment.  Let him proceed with the cheque bounce case, you can defend your case accordingly.
