You have to file the objection against the petition , filed against you, denying what is wrong and accepting what is right and also narrate what is not mentioned in the petition.

If you are a party in a civil suit, definitely, you would be granted fair and reasonable opportunity to file your objection. If the opportunity has not been granted, you can approach the court by filing separate petition for providing the same to you.
