Claim on ancestral property

Hi Sir,

I have purchased a land in Bangalore in 2007. The hystory of the land is as follows,

1. This land was first sold by Mr.H  in 2000, who got the land from his father after fathers death. No will is existing for this.

2. In 2000, Mr.H and his two sons sold this land to Mrs.L . She then sold this land to Mr.N. This was a revenue land.

3. Mr.N did the DC conversion of this land and then sold the same to Mr.R in 2005.

4. During this time Mr.H's ( First owner) Wife and daughter filed as case asking for share.

5. Then Mr.R paid some money and got consent document from these two.

6. After that Mr.R then developed a layout , got panchayat approval for layout and sold it to we ,16 friends.

7. We purchase this land in 2007 and did Encumbrance certificate in our name. As per governments records we are the owners.

8. But in 2010, Mr.H's ( First owner ) sister filed a case on this asking for her share ( Mr.H is no more now). This sister was married around 50 years back and she has a 45 year old son now.

9. This sister and the son made it a practise to run around and file case on all lands and extort money by misusing loop holes in the law. They even came to us for money. They filed case against 13 acres of land and demanding money from every one using this case. Local people even say that the first owners sons are also hand in hand with this old sister and son.

Here my question is that we have purchased this land legally and registered it in our name by paying money. Why we should be put in trouble for Mr.H selling this land with out doing partition.

Also when we purchased this land in 2010, we have taken legal opinion from a bank lawyer and wee even got bank loan for this land from Dena Bank.

Please help me to know how to handle these money extorting guys.

Kindly provide copy of the sale deed executed by you and the seller.

Also let me know whether you had given any advertisement in the local newspaper asking for claim in the property????

kindly send those documents on : onlyrohit2003@yahoo.co.in
