Dear Friends,
Can a lease agreement be entered into retrospectively (eg:- can a lease agreement be entered & signed today giving effect to the rental payments w.e.f january 2010)?
The agreement is proposed to be entered into between a company and another individual.

Yes. You can enter into a lease agreement effective from an earlier date.

Make a clause in the lease agreement that the lease deemed to have commenced from the earlier date.
