Clubbing of cheque case

I have one querry regarding the cheque case. The accused issued two cheques of different dates within two weeks. both the cheques are bounced with the remark of funds insufficient. The complainant presented two cheques on different dates into bank. So whether the one single complaint in which two cheques mentioned file case in court of law? or necessary to file two different cases in court of law?

so pls advice.

Better file two separate cases in court.

If both the cheques are within the limitation period then a single complaint also can be filed combining both the cheques  before the criminal court for relief

Yes,you can file single complaint for dishonour of cheques if they are set of same transaction.

In case date of dishonour of both cheques is within limitation of demand notice and the complainant is financially not well off to pay your professional fees to file/contest two different cases, the same can be clubbed in single complaint.

What are the facts as to the liability for which the cheques were issued?

The complainant previosly give amount to accused for investment in to stock market and accused assure to give well returns within one year. the said payment was given by complainant to accused by RTGS. after one year the accused failed to give any amount and also not invested into stock market too. so after negotions and by written compromise agreement the accused give cheques which dishonour.

What is the amount returned? Is it just the amount advanced or something more? If so, how much?
