Following Apex Court judgments a couple of year ago, the top police bossesof some states issued an administrative order to the investigating officers of the police cases to collect the identity documents, email addresses and mobile phone numbers of the prosecution witnesses during the investigation who intended to be cited as the prosecution witnesses. Can anybody help me in providing the citation of the said case or any police order mandating compliance of the bonafide identity of the witness?
