Contest divorce

husband filed divorce , ground mental torture.

can wife herself can fight the case on her own.

is there any provision where respondent can fight her own case.

is it permissible or not.

It's permissible but not advisable. There are some good lawyer out there in LCI forum which could help you. If you're going through financial crunch then try to settle down via Mutual Consent Divorce (MCD) after getting a fixed amount.

yes you can fight your own case as becoming party in person but before that make yourself better than your lawyer who will only need money and act like a dumbo..


it's alway's prefferable to fight your own case if you see that all those moron's are nothing but to suck money by their crookness.

Yes you can appear as party in person and contest your own case, however take advices on and off from some people having legal background/knowledge.
