Judge - Recuse

Deal All,

What is the requirement of a Judge to recuse himself from a court matter ? If there is no proper reasoning to choose recusal, what are it's consequences ? Do Judges have 'Code of Conduct' like Advocates do ? Please answer when you have time.

Thank you.

well subordinate judiciary is governed by some disciplinary rules....as far as higher judiciary is  concerned, all depends upon the My Lords.

judges can refuse to hear any particular matter may it be on personal reasons or anything else......if they assign reasons it is good..........after all the justice must be done.
