Buying my father in laws property

My father in law wanted to sell his property due to need of money. He has asked me to Buy if i want.

So please suggest me whether can i buy his property?

My father in law has 2 Daughters both are married and 1 Son unmarried.

suggest me what are the legal steps to take before buying it (if i am buying.). I don't want to see any legal issues from his daughter and son afterwards.

Thanks in Advance.

if it is his self aquired property then you dont have any problem in buying it.

ask the daughters and son to join as witness in the sale deed...otherwwise too, buying seems not any problem if your father-in-law is actua title holder and not just  acquired under inheretance or joint hindu family property.

Thanks to all for your reply.

Yes , it is his own self aquired property. Only problem is whether his 2nd married daughter will accept for join as witness.

Son is not an issue, he can sign in sale deed document.

If it is self aquired property then ask him to gift it to you as it may save some stamp duty expenses also, and for gift, no other people's consent required.
