Ji, you have not mentioned the date of death of your father.  If there is no bread winner in your family, then you may apply for compassionate appointment subject to condition that it should be within one year from the date of your father's death.  However consutlt the Bank authorities regarding the job.  apply it, if such policy is there and othesr such as age, eduacational qualifications etc are ok.
