A WILL has to be signed by the testator along with two witnesses. You may keep it in your wardrobe or bank locker. But after the Demise of the testator the beneficiary will face problems .
It is better to get the WILL Registered secretly and by informing it to the well wishers so that the beneficiary will not face hardship after the demise of the testator.

Will can be in secret, provided the Witnesses also keep it a secret. And, you and the Witnesses can go to Registrar Office to Register it, so that the beneficiaries of the Will do not face any problems.
However, once a Will is registered, it becomes a public document. If anybody gets a wind of Will written by you can apply for public copy and get it.
