Cybercrimes are rising daily. If any person makes a fake account for the purpose of stalking, cheating or impersonating anyone, or annoying anyone and harbouring fear in any individual's mind will be punished under SECTION 66A and 66D of the Information Technology Act, atleast a three year imprisonment. Such accounts can be removed by the social media platform, or any individual can report against such an account. People creating a fake profile with intention to cause harm, or spread misinformation and false accusations will also be punished under the law. 

Please report any such accounts you see as spam or inappropriate, or as any other relevant option provided.
