General power of attorney

I have visited BOB to register myself to operate account on behalf of my mom as she is unable to operate her account due to Parkinson disease.
I have produced original registered GPOA to the Bank Manager.
Bank manager informed me that as per their record my moms signature is differed in GPOA.
Therefor she is asking to get letter from my mother stating that she has made GPOA and also confirmed with video call.
Kindly advise Bank Mangers is correct or I must approach Banking head in this Matter.

Purpose of registered power of attorney has no value.

She is unable to perform signatures therefore power of attorney made.

Confused !
