Since the sale transaction is of the year 1980 and before. the Benami Transaction Act came into force so now it can't be said Benami Transaction.

The Law as benami trasaction is THE PROHIBITION OF BENAMI PROPERTY TRANSACTIONS ACT, 1988 and not Benami Trasaction Act. It is an Act to prohibit benami transactions and the right to recover property held benami and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
