I am living in cooperative group housing society flats, Haryana. I have purchased first floor of society recently. But I have some problem with my immediate neighbour who is living in second floor. The problem is, there are seepages and leakages of water all over the roof of bathroom and bedroom from the drainage of bathroom of my neighbour. My house property is badly damaged. I have requested him several times to get his bathroom repaired but he does not pay any attention to this. Despite this he continues to using his bathroom continuously. President and other office bearers of the society show their helplessness on the issue. They said they cannot direct my neighbour to repair his bathroom. I want to know is there any legal remedies of the problem and how can I force him to get the bathroom repaired and solve the problem and also recover compensation of damages of my house property. Should I reregister FIR against him!
Please help me on the issue. Thanks
