Court stamp duty

We registered a civil suit for a property and it is going to be close to five years now. It is sounding to some conclusion. We have agreed to compromise outside the court and the proceedings are in progress. I wanted to know: Is the stamp duty that is paid in the court for filing the case is refundable ? i heard in some cases the stamp duty is returned back. As we are settling down with a compromise outside the court will we get the stamp duty money back ? Kindly guide on this. Thanks
