CPIOs are not bothered to take action on RTI Application.
I submitted an application through rti online portal. Application was acknowledged and registration no was given to me on 30.07.15. Nodal officer forwarded RTI to concerned Ministry CPIO who neither replied till today nor forwarded to concern CPIO. I submitted reminder on 01.09.15 which was forwarded to concerned CPIO.
Now the concerned CPIO is saying that he received the application on 03.09.15 hence he has 30 days to reply.
The information under RTI Act will be received by Applicant within max 45 days.
