Dear sir/madam, greetings! My husband is lecturer in a central university in Sikkim. My mother in law was referred to higher medical treatment from a small town government hospital of Bihar. After a few days, she was hospitalized in emergency ward of a CGHS empanelled private hospital in Delhi, which is also the nearest hospital from her place of temporary stay in Delhi. Since there is provision of Emergency Medical Facilities without referral, is it advisable to claim reimbursement solely on basis of Emergency and not furnish details of prior treatment and referral for sake of simplicity?
