Daughter's daughters right in grandfather's property

Sir, i have a question that what will be the status of the share of a daughter's daughter in the property of her grandfather.

a person dies leaving behind wife. sons, daughters who are the legal heirs of him, it is very much clear. But the problem starts when the wife of that person thrown out the daughter of one of the daughter whom she asked to live in the house.

can she do that or the daughter's daughter have some interest in the property of her grandfather.

Fatherdied intestate property devolves equally upon all the legal heirs, if the concerned daughter is alive she is eligible for a share, in her absence her daughter can claim for the same.
