I was going through Employees Compensation Act 1923 (Amended in 2017) wherein the wage ceiling for death compensation has been shown to be omitted by amendment Act 45 of 2009. Earlier the ceilings were 2000, 4000 and 8000. I would like to know whether any wage ceiling applies presently for calculating death compenstion using the age factor.
