Aftr the death of my father, all my family members got the self aquired properties of my father registered by way of partition deed.
in that deed, we all could not identify some vacant sites, and its location.
hence we left vacant sites in favour of my mother, and mentioned that if at all she is selling that sites, which are not identified, she has to take the consent of all other members.
Now that without our knowledge and the insistence of my sister, she has gifted 2 sites in my sister's son name. is it legal? and she tells that she has taken oral consent, which is not true. as she has not informed majority of us, (we are totally seven) and also my mother is an illiterate.
what exactly the term CONSENT mean in legal terms. can we file a suit to quash the gift deed executed by her without majority of our signatures.
