Delayed fnf

I have resigned my company by serving a notice period of seven days against company's policy of thirty days. Wrt they would be recovering 23 days's salary from my FnF which was ok with me. Now, it has been almost 25days over the period of 45days that the company takes to process FnF. Everytime I mail upfrontly, they reply with a further date. In this case where my FnF is delayed by almost a month over 45days, can I ask the company for interest on delayed period. If yes then how to calculate the same? Please advice at the earliest. Thanks in advance.

If they pay, take it, dont complicate the matter by asking interest etc.  You do like that, they wont pay only. Going to court is not useful unless amount due is above 30 lakhs.
