demarcation

can a land demarcation b done without settlement process by the revenue dept. what is the way to get demarcation.

The land only after it is surveyed in presence of neighbour / Bordering owners and after laying of such stones and certificate is having the authenticity.  If not it can be challenged, and some one may ask for official resurvey in future.
