Development agreement between owner and builder

Hi Everybody,

My Friend entered into an 18 months of Agreement of Development Cum GPA with a Builder before 6 months and handed over the possession of the property for construction of resdential appartments on 50-50 ratio. eventually builder got sick and went unconsious since 6 months and now my friend want to end this agreement legally because so far there was no development /construction taking place on site.. kindly advise for cancellation of agreement!

Issue legal notice to the builder for termination of agreement.

Consult a local prudent lawyer for better appreciation of facts/ documents, professional guidance and necessary proceeding.

Yes you may cancel the agreement

Send a legal notice for the cancellation of the construction agreement.Documents needs to be scrutinized.

Dear querist,

You can cancel the development agreement as there is no progress in construction. Send legal notice and approach civil court for termination of agreement.

Issue Legal Notice for no progress in work and cancel the agreement on this ground only and consult some local advocate along with all your documents.
