Diff between rent control act and t.p act

Hi All,

I heard generally the cases under T.P Acts are generally get Judgements faster than Rent Control Act.

Can you please clarify.

IF THE RENT IS BELOW RS3500 AND AGE OF BUILDING IS ABOVE 15Y THEN RENT CONTROL ACT APPLIES.

RENT IS ABOVE 3500 THEN ONLY TP ACT APPLIES.AND BUILDING AGE IS LESS THAN 15 Y THEN ALSO APPLIES

Proceedings under rent control laws are summary trial in nature and hence can be disposed off much early than that of the proceedings initiated under Transfer of Property Act.
