Disqualification of nominee of insurance policy

Wife is the nominee of the insurance policy of her husband. Wife has murdered the husband with her paramour and now absconding. Wife and paramour have been chargesheeted in the murder case of the husband and that case is now pending. Now minor son of the policy holder has filed a suit for declaration that his mother is now disqualified to receive the sum of the insurance policy being a murderer and also prayed for granting mandatory injunction directing LIC to disburse the sum of the policy to the minor son. Question is in this situation whether wife becomes disqualified to receive the sum of the policy?
