what do you do and were is your wife hometown and if you settle in her hometown then what about your job

Dear client, try to solve the matter amicably. If you don't get any ray of hope, you can file the suit for the restitution of conjugal rights.

@ the queriest.......please dont file for RCR, if she is constantly giving you threats of 498 and DV, filing RCR will only aggravate matters futher, as you will get a 498 and DV gifts in return. immediately start recording her threats on mobile phone if you are being threatened on phone, file for divorce on basis of desertion and cruelty, find out where she is working and try to get her income proof. if she is not working anywhere then start depositing a certain sum of money per month in her savings account without her knowledge. this action will save you in you maintainence cases, first things first. hire a lawyer and file a divorce petition right away, but be prepared to fight 498 DV and maintainence cases in retalition.

@ adv kapil gupta,,,,,,,,i am really amused by your common reply in all different threads in the forum, you advise almost all people to file RCR cases. are you an RCR specialist?

see if she is continously threatning you for 498A and DV than it is always better to safe gaurd your self by taking anticipatory bail. next you go for divorce petition if you feel that it is not possible for you to continue this marital tie with her. please think of your children if any before you take any of decision.

@Anup: where are you employed?, which place she is employed?, what is that stopping you from joining her place of employment?, is it just a ego clash or some other thing of very serious in nature?, do you both have children?, if yes, what will be the mentality of your children as they grow up?, The marriage between you and your wife is a sacred institute, do you want to break it over silly and solvable issues?, s your love a short lived one?, actually, on a few compromises, your life together with her will be very great, have you ever thought about it?  There are still chances for reconciliation but what about the willingness?,  I understand that due to such a long break the things will not get solved so soon and easily, but without making an attempt, why blame others?

You know the situation better than anyone, so make wise decisions accordingly.

Actually my wife is not threatening me for 498.her family members are threatened onetime.i am fear for this.I dont have children. Her hometown is chennai and my home town is odisha.I dont want to settle in chennai because of my in-laws.I observed that they will definitely interfer if I settle in chennai.my wife is not understanding my sitution.i have supported her whetever she wishes to do.She is not picking up my call and not replying to my messages.Now she is silent.i m so confused by seeing her activities.still I m loving her but she is not understanding.pls suggest me wht kind of steps I will be taken..
