Ownership of property is primarily based on the Mother documents. Only in their absence or in other cases like the owner dying intestate, etc. other Documents are perused. In your case, may be SC Corp., have been an owner of the land you are about to purchase once. Later purchasers would not have transferred it to their name. It is no big deal.
But I strongly suggest that you opt professional services of an Advocate. Ask for a "Legal Opinion" for there might be certain matters that either of us could have overseen and it is pertinent that all the Documents are throughly gone through by an Advocate physically so as to determine there is no risk in the Title of the Property you are about to Purchase.
