Can mother-in-law file domestic violence on her daughter-in-law?

Yes. MIL can file DV case against DIL, but will have to include son too in such case or else it wont be of any use just naming DIL as the respondent, if you want DIL to get out of the house, then first son should be thrown out of the house, once that done, DIL cannot stay with MIL and has to eventually join her husband wherever he is.


Its always better in this case that son take a rented accomodation and move out with wife.
